Pre-2002 SCAR Working Groups and Groups of Specialists:
At XXVII SCAR, Shanghai, July 2002, the Working Groups and Groups of Specialists were reorganized into three Standing Scientific Groups on Geosciences, Life Sciences and Physical Sciences and their constituent sub groups.
