Changes to the distribution of SCAR Bulletins and Reports
At the XXVI SCAR meeting, Delegates agreed that the distribution of printed copies of SCAR Bulletin and SCAR Report should be reduced. This will provide a considerable saving in costs of printing and posting. Printed copies will still be distributed to all Union Members, Executive Committee and Chief Officers. However, the number of printed copies to National Committees will be reduced to five copies each and to Associate Members to two copies each. National Committees and Associate Members may request additional copies for libraries to which they normally distribute but not for individuals. This should ensure that all libraries will continue to receive printed copies to form a uniform set; individuals reqiring personal copies should download each issue from the SCAR website at:
The SCAR website is regularly updated with new information and you are asked to check it frequently. Material for review and comment, as well as some other documents not for public distribution, will be found in the "Members Only" section which should also be checked.
