SCAR's Executive Director visits Antarctica
SCAR Executive Director Colin Summerhayes visited Dronning Maud Land at the end of November and beginning of December 2004 to gain first hand experience of the breadth and complexities of Antarctic scientific research and the essential support for it provided by the Members of COMNAP. The trip was intended to help the new Executive Director to mesh his experiences into SCAR's present and possible future developments, including its relations with COMNAP and the Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting.
