The Chief Officers of the three Standing Scientific Groups met before the SCAR Executive Committee Meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria on July 10 to discuss ways in which SCAR's science could develop in an interdisciplinary way across the boundaries between the three Standing Scientific Groups. They decided to meet with colleagues in Amsterdam in November to take these discussions forward.
