King George Island Science Coordination Group (cross-SSGs initiative)
The King George Island Science Coordination Group was set up in 2005 in response to a requirement of the SCAR Strategic Plan 2004-2010. Originally it was a Physical Sciences Action Group, with the intention of improving the coordination of science across King George Island (KGI). In 2008, its Terms of Reference were revised and its membership upgraded to include the Chief Officers of all three SSGs. It was disbanded in 2011.
The contact for the group was Sergio Marenssi (smarenssi@dna.gov.ar)
