The theme of the 16th International Circumpolar Remote Sensing Symposium (ICRSS) is "Convergence at the Poles - Addressing urgent research questions and management needs through remote sensing in the Arctic and Antarctic".

 

As a hallmark of the ICRSS series, the symposium will not feature parallel sessions but will use a single-session format to allow maximum exposure to the broad themes of Polar Remote Sensing to all participants, which in the past has resulted in fruitful discussions across disciplines as well as new collaborations and networks. 

 

The meeting is planned to be in-person, with options for remote participation.
