The Journal Advances in Polar Science invites expressions of interest in a new Special Issue entitled “Past and present climatic change in Antarctica: geological proxies and biological processes”
The main purpose of this issue is to provide new information and reviews on climate changes in Antarctica. Submission of manuscripts is welcome on the following but not limited topics:
- Geological, paleontological, and biological contributions that reveal paleoclimates and paleoecosystems.
- Responses of populations and ecosystems to climate and environmental change.
- Recent techniques and networks for environmental observations.
If you are interested in this proposal, please submit a tentative title and the names of possible co-authors. The manuscripts will be subject to the peer-review process. The guidelines for the format of papers can be found here.
Key dates:
- 30 June 2023: deadline for submitting tentative titles of possible contributions (please
send directly to [email protected]).
1 September 2023: deadline for submitting a manuscript for this issue.
1 December 2023: deadline for submission of the final accepted paper.
