The school open for Early Career Scientists (preferably PhD students), but Master students and early Post-Docs are also eligible to apply.

Lectures, field and lab work will address topics such as
  • basic sea-ice and snow physics
  • sea-ice optics
  • sea-ice biogeochemistry
  • gas fluxes at the interfaces
  • sea-ice carbon cycle
  • sea-ice primary production
  • sea-ice biogeochemical modelling
  • land-sea-ice-ocean itneractions
  • life in the north
Further information and applications can be made through here.

The deadline for school and funding application is 11 March 2022.

BEPSII is a network of sea ice scientists exploring biogeochemical exchanges at sea ice interfaces. BEPSII gathers sea ice biogeochemists and biologists, either experimentalists or modellers.
