John Read is a PhD student at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. His research focuses on codes of ethics, compliance, tourist behaviours and program evaluations of tourism practices in the Polar regions. Prior to pursuing his M.S. which focused on tourists’ intentions, John worked as a life safety inspector in North America, the Middle East, and Antarctica.
