An update on the XIII International Symposium on Antarctic Earth Sciences (ISAES 2019) has been issued by the ISAES 2019 Secretariat, in the form of an electronic direct mail. It contains information on the symposium and links to the website in one handy document (see the link below).
XIII ISAES 2019 will be held from 22-26 July 2019, at the Songdo Convensia in Incheon, Republic of Korea. The symposium aims to bring together Antarctic earth scientists from different areas in order to gather and highlight their outstanding expertise and ideas.
You are encouraged to submit an abstract now, ahead of the closing date of 31 March 2019. Applications for side meetings are also encouraged and will remain open until 31 March 2019.
Information about symposium registration is now available, both in the document and on the website. Registration will open on 1 April and early bird registration ends on 30 April 2019.
A number of pre- and post-symposium field trips to geological sites in Korea are planned. The document gives a taster of these, with full details available on the website in due course.
