20190918 SCAR Secretariat 00002 webThe Secretariat is sad to say goodbye to Alice Oates, who is leaving to take up a PhD in the historical geographies of Halley Bay at the Scott Polar Research Institute. Alice has been a fantastic member of the Secretariat team and done a great job in reinvigorating our communications. We’re particularly grateful to her for her work on re-launching the SCAR newsletter, updating all of our publicity material and bringing many of our internal systems up to date.  We would like to say a huge thank you to Alice for all her hard work and wish her the very best for the future.
